60 vs 185 Trillion Trillion, 261 Billion Stem, and No. 3source: http://sosbud.kompasiana.com/2010/06/02/60-triliun-261-miliar-batang-dan-no-3/
Excellent! Cigarettes cause many deaths, but there are a brave man to suck it for the sake of prestige and pride!60 trillion is the opinion of the state cigarette tax last year. Many are not?But according to Health Ministry study, in 2007, was the cost incurred for the treatment of smoking reach 185 trillion.Wow, a lot is not?!Not to mention the cost of promotions to attract and poison which must also reach the trillions of numbers.Among the pros and cons of this smoking issue, and also the issue of smoking is negative, to the Muhammadiyah should issue a fatwa for cigarettes. But the fact is precisely the production of cigarettes increased 6.5 percent from a year earlier. Because in the year 2010 alone has reached 261 billion cigarettes. It turned out that the negative consequences of smoking and death threats, has not scary. It is estimated each year in the world 5 million lives lost because of it. Extraordinary courage of our society.More remarkable fact is according to the WHO or the World Health Organization, Indonesia ranks third in terms of cigarette consumption in the world community.A total of 65 million people in Indonesia are active smokers. While China was ranked first (390 million) followed by India (144 million). However, when viewed from the population and in a matter of percentages, of course, Indonesia ranked first ascertained.Great, right? Why is the number of negative consequences of smoking has not mengetarkan our hearts to quit or not smoke? In addition to the promotion - which is so vigorous promotion of cigarette manufacturers who spend billions a year, is the consciousness of people is not yet fully. Plus half the business of government - half for the anti smoking campaign. Can be seen from the crude cost.In fact more secondhand smoke may be irritating to perokoknya own, but it is annoying that people are around. So, beware, we might be non-smokers die because of other people's smoke is smoke, while smoking his own good health! (Kompas.com)What is mengerihkan?!* The data from various sources:

Smoking can accelerate the deterioration of memory
Evidence of negative effects of smoking again, according to research. Experts in the UK suggests that smoking may accelerate the destruction of memory, thinking, and learning, especially among men. This finding adds to a long list of reasons for smokers to quit immediately.
It's no secret that there are at least a cigarette in about 4,000 chemical substances that are harmful to human body. No wonder that many studies have shown that cigarette smoke had a big hand in destroying health.
In a recent study published in the, February 6, 2012 in the journal Archives of General Psychiatry, Severine Sabia of the University College London and colleagues analyzed data on about 5,100 men and more than 2,100 women. The study was conducted to assess and analyze the respondents related mental functions, such as memory, learning, and thought processing. \
Assessment of mental function of the respondents carried out for three times over the last 10 years. While the assessment of smoking status of respondents performed six times in the last 25 years. The average age of respondents was about 56 years old when the first assessment done.
The researchers found that among men, smoking is associated with a decreased ability of the brain more cepat.Selain, the reduction was greater in men who continued to smoke during the study period.
Among respondents who stopped smoking, an attempt to leave the cigarette does not seem very helpful. The researchers found that men who quit smoking within 10 years before the first assessment made was at risk of mental decline, primarily associated with "executive" in the brain. However, those who had quit smoking for a long time, tend to experience a slower decline in brain function.
"Finally, our results show that there is a relationship between smoking and decreased mental ability, especially in old age," the researchers said.
The researchers added that although the findings have found an association between smoking and mental decline in men, but this does not prove causality.
"These findings underscore that smoking has an adverse effect on the brain. Habit of smoking in middle age is a factor that can be modified where the effect may be equivalent to a decrease (mental function) for an average of 10 years," said Dr. Marc Gordon, Chief of Neurology at the Hospital Zucker Hillside, Glen Oaks, NY, who was not involved in the study.
In this study, researchers found no association between smoking and the effects of the decline in mental function in wanita.Alasan for this gender difference has not been revealed by jelas.Namun, may be related to the fact that men generally tend to smoke more than women.
